A remarkable cocktail is always Worth The Wait
February 14, 2013 -- Published by Tara ShinnFor all the single people out there today, I have the perfect cocktail that is sweet, tangy and bubbly. It does take a bit of prep work, so if your in the mood for a new exciting project, try making a Worth The Wait:
Stir 1 cup of sugar into 1 cup of chopped ripe strawberries, cover and let refrigerate for 2 days, stirring occasionally. Add 1 cup champagne vinegar, and let sit for 6 days before straining out the berries and bottling. For the cocktail, shake 1 oz Clique Vodka, and 1/2 oz of your strawberry shrub in a cocktail tin over ice, then strain into a flute. Slowly top with champagne and enjoy! You can also try this recipe over ice, substituting lemon lime soda for the champagne.
